Blackboard, Kanazawa, Japan

It’s been over a week since my last post.   Sorry about that, folks, but I’ve got some visitors staying with me and my attention has mostly been focused on them.
It’s been considerably longer since I made a post with some of my travel photos, so tonight I scanned three consecutive photos that I made in the city of Kanazawa, Japan, on my trip there in 2010.

One of them, at the top, is a sign on a blackboard in the old Higashiyama district that I found to be a bit amusing, even though I have no idea what is says.  Next is another amusing sign in another part of Kanazawa, closer to the railway station, I believe.
Finally, for those who like my figure work, here’s a little something for you – a nude statue that I came across in a busy area of town.  I would very much like to photograph a Japanese nude model on a future trip to Japan, but until that happens, this kind of photo will have to suffice.
