Lying Down on the Job

Studio Nude, 2009

It’s been a few days since my last post, and while I had hoped to write a bit more now, I’m afraid that today’s post will have to be a short one. I’ve been busy trying to catch up with paperwork and other things here at home, and I’ve got company coming to visit me this weekend, so I’ve got to get ready for that.
So, to help make up for the brevity of this post, I’ve delved into the archives and scanned another photo of the lovely Jmax for your viewing pleasure. I photographed Julie in my home studio set up in 2009, but as I will still doing a lot of experimenting with lighting and backdrops, trying to increase my limited knowledge in those areas, not all of the images turned out as well as I would have liked.
Still, this one looks fairly good, I think, with JMax lying down on the job (at my request, mind you) backlit by one or two of my hot lights.  Sometimes, beauty simply prevails.
